About St. Andrew's Church, Bo'ness

We are a Church of Scotland congregation. Our leadership team is traditionally known as a Kirk Session. We have around 28 elders who make up this team.

We believe that every member  of the congregation is called to share in the ministry. This could be in an overseas programme, a national project, serving the local community or living out gospel values in their everyday lives at work and at home. Our work patterns and job titles may be varied but we are all called to the vocation of discipleship.

The church staff is made up of a number of part-time and full-time employees who help carry out the Kirk Session’s ministry strategy. The staff have a remit to work alongside our valued volunteers and church members so that together we can serve the community of Bo’ness and beyond.  Sanctus Media Ltd is a not-for-profit company that has evolved out of the successful multimedia youth project that was first established in 2001. Sanctus Media has a close working relationship with the ministry of St Andrew’s Bo’ness.

About the Staff

• Rev Albert Bogle is the minister of St. Andrew's Parish Church and leader of the team.
• Sheena Orr is minister in training and plans to complete her training in September 2011.
• Lilias Snedden is our Youth and Young Adult Worker.
• Dianne Collins is our Family Worker.
• Emma Holmes is our Assisatant Family Worker.
• Lynn Holleran is key worker in the Tuesday club.
• Mairi Young is our Church Administrator.
• Anna Stevenson is our Church Cleaner.

About our Volunteers

We can't name here our all of our numerous volunteers, but we are extremely grateful for all the support that give to the life and work of the church. We wouldn't be able to run most of our services were it not for their unstinting devotion and commitment to the church.

About Sanctus Media Ltd

Sanctus Media is a not-for-profit limited company that grew out of our successful SAMYP project. It exists to serve and resource the local, national and international church in providing specialist video and internet services.
