The Tuesday Club offers Day Care for people with dementia, and also offers support to those who care for them. Its aims are:

  • To provide physical and mental stimulation for its members by a series of suitable activities.
  • To provide respite time for main carers.
  • To be a listening service for main carers.
  • To offer a time for sharing, reflecting and feeling valued, as well as "time away" from which both the individuals and their carers may benefit.

The Tuesday Club offers a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment to individuals with a variety of activities developed around each person’s needs with one-to-one support to enhance weekly experiences.

It is a time for sharing, reflection and feeling valued as well as time away from which both the individual and their carers can benefit.

Please read our information pack which also contains a volunteer application form if you are interested in working with us.
