Talking Point
Albert Bogle
The future is unpredictable. Even politicians have spoken of our broken society. There is so much in our lives that we cannot control and don’t know how to fix. We may develope strategies
that allow us to cope with life in the present, but we are looking for more.
Family life is under threat and for many it is actually under reconstruction. Where do we go when we need inspiration and encouragement? An old film, or a box of chocolates, or a visit to so called, "retail therapy park"
In the midst of all the changes in life, there is one constant theme that is promoted in the Christian Scriptures, God is with us. Paul of Tarsus writing to the Roman Christians said something like this, "There is nothing that the world can throw at you which will separate you from God's love."
Pause for a moment and reflect on the way God has guided you in the past months. He's been closer to you than you might think. Talk about it to someone and make it a talking point.
