Thought for the week
Robert Redford appeared in a film entitled THE WAY WE WERE, I started to think about the film because of a conversation I had with a colleague. His congregation were looking at their roll of membership. The leadership had decided to grasp the nettle and challenge those who say they are members to either be active or face the truth about themselves.
It made me think it is not the way you were that matters, it?s the way you are now that counts. So are your happy to be where you are or do you long to get back to where you were?
"" Think how far you have fallen. Turn from your sins and do what you did at first. If you don't turn from your sins, I will come to you and take your lampstand from its place. "" Rev. 2 .5
